DreamWave is developed by Naresh Singh. Your privacy is important. This app is designed to work fully on your device with no external data collection.

1. Data Collection

DreamWave does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers.

• No account creation
• No backend services
• No third-party analytics
• No advertising

2. Health Data (Apple HealthKit)

DreamWave uses Apple HealthKit to read sleep, heart rate, and HRV data.

• All HealthKit data is read-only
• Data is used only to provide insights within the app
• Health data is never stored outside your device
• Health data is never shared with any third party

DreamWave complies fully with Apple HealthKit guidelines.

3. Microphone and Snore Detection

DreamWave uses the microphone for snore detection.

• Audio processing happens entirely on-device
• No audio is transmitted or uploaded
• Audio clips are stored locally in the app sandbox
• Audio data is deleted when the user deletes it

4. Speech Recognition

DreamWave uses Apple's on-device Speech framework to transcribe your spoken dream journal entries into text.

• Transcription happens entirely on your device
• No audio or transcript is transmitted to any server
• Transcripts are stored locally and deleted when you delete the entry

5. Motion Data

DreamWave reads motion activity to detect when the phone has been still long enough to prompt bedtime tracking.

• Motion samples are read in real time and not persisted
• No motion data leaves your device

6. Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData.

• Data remains on your device
• Optional iCloud backup is controlled by your device settings

7. Notifications

DreamWave may use local notifications to provide sleep insights and reminders. These do not involve any data sharing.

8. Data Sharing

DreamWave does not sell, share, or transfer any user data to third parties.

9. User Control

You have full control over your data.

• You can delete app data at any time
• Uninstalling the app removes all local data

10. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated. Any updates will be reflected with a new "Last updated" date.
